Tarantino’s advice

I just watched an interview with Quentin Tarantino, who offered up his top 10 tips for screenwriters.

One really struck me!

I think it was tip #9: Force your characters to make moral decisions.

That one really has my head spinning as being something I/we need to do.

Lou already has two moral decisions to make: first, to gamble on baseball or not, then to whether or not to accept Don’s offer.

Neither Brad nor Jayne have any moral decisions yet…

Sneaky Pete would be a natural for this as he is the go-between the Warden and Don Dykstra.

I think it generally takes one character to give the other character this moral decision.

Any ideas?
